Every week the Beacon Centre provides a free 90-minute Talking Newspaper tape, covering local news, features, information, music requests, and much more. Around 1,200 people are registered for the service with 600 tapes being sent out each week.

The Talking Newspaper is also available in a CD version for a small annual subscription fee of £10 or it can be downloaded from our website for free.

Extra Talking Newspapers are also sent out and they include:

  • Asian Talking Newspaper – sent out monthly
  • Beacon Extra Magazine – send twice yearly
