 CH2 Hair Salon is situated adjacent to the Bar and Restaurant in Beacon Court. The salon is open to the public however offers reduced rates to Beacon Centre for the Blind service users.

Our Talking Newspaper Service is much more than an audio version of the local news. It offers an intimate sense of belonging to our listeners, particularly for those who live alone, and keeps them in touch with the local community.

Many children who have lost their sight, or are losing it, can become withdrawn or find it difficult to communicate. Having the opportunity to have fun, socialise and make new friends is an important part of staying connected with the rest of society. Support and advice for the family is also important.  That’s what our children’s service provides.
