Last Christmas the Jolly Crispin Pub in Clarence Street, Gornal, Dudley held a sponsored 'Bike' ride from John O'Groats to Lands End without leaving the pub - participants used an exercise bike and the journey was followed on a huge map in the pub.  This year after that successfull event the pub is attempting something different by 'overland skiing' round their favourite breweries, again without leaving the pub.  Skiers will be provided with goggles, gloves and wooly hat and the route will take them on a 244 mile journey that will start Sunday 19th October and finish Sunday 2nd November.  Prizes are up for grabs for the Lady and Gentleman who skis the furthest or raises the most money.     If you would like to take part in the event skiing at least 5 miles and raising a minimum of £5 per mile please contact Rob at the venue on 01902 672220
