Beacon Centre’s first annual Blind Drive was a great success. The event gave an opportunity to blind and visually impaired people to get behind the wheel of a car and enjoy the experience of driving in a safe environment at RAF Cosford. The event also challenged members of the public to drive a dual controlled car around an assault course blind folded. Beacon Centre staff where joined by independent driving instructors and the Wolfruna Chapter Harley Davidson Group completely free of charge. The Blind Drive was a fantastic day out for all and looks set to raise more than £3500 for the Beacon Centre for the Blind Second Site Appeal.
