Everything raised by Carillion was collected last Friday (11th June) by staff from the Beacon Centre for the Blind, to be sold in our seven charity shops all over the Black Country.

The income generated through the shops is vital to continue the care of blind and partially sighted people, but the shops also offer a valuable service for local people. They recycle and reuse unwanted goods, helping with local waste management and relieving pressure on landfill sites. They also offer people a way of buying goods at low prices.

The Beacon Centre for the Blind will open a Recycle Centre this month, which will further help to save the charity money. Keep checking beacon4blind.co.uk for more info in the future.
