Equipment & Advice Centre
Equipment & Advice Centre
Practical equipment can make everyday living so much easier for people with sight loss, boosting their confidence and independence and making home a safer place. And it’s often simple ideas that can make the biggest difference.
The Equipment & Advice Centre is a drop in centre open to the general public.
The room offers a wide range of assistive equipment for sale as well as offering advice and guidance on maintaining independent living for people with sight loss. We carry a wide range of equipment from bump on stickers for labelling, talking watches & clocks up to the latest reading machines and electronic magnifiers.
Demonstrations of the more technical products are available but please telephone to arrange an appointment to ensure that a demonstrator is available.
