The Beacon Centre arranges two one-day trips annually in the UK. These trips are free and transport is provided. Places we have visited in the past include Southport, Windsor and Llandudno.

In the first week of November, 34 visually impaired people & Tom Huntington, Resource Officer went on a trip to Newquay, Cornwall for Turkey & Tinsel. The group stayed at the Cliffdene Hotel, Narrowcliffy for five days. During the week the group visited Truro, Mevagissy, Charlestown, Lisguard, Penzance & Lands End. 

We offer three holidays a year, two in this country and one abroad which are paid for by service users.  The holidays are escorted by a staff member from Beacon Centre but anyone going on the holiday must be accompanied by a carer who can take care of their needs. Current holiday include:
