On Saturday 26th April visitors will be able to explore 18 acres including a woodland walk and water gardens. The Wodehouse garden which opens each year through the National Gardens Scheme attracts record numbers of visitors.

Those who are feeling energetic are encouraged to take part in a 3½ mile sponsored walk through the grounds to boost Beacon Centre funds.

Kate Fletcher, Capital Appeal Officer at Beacon Centre, said, 'We are hoping that whole families will seize the opportunity to enjoy a day out in the fresh air and take part in this very manageable walk. It is a very enjoyable way to support Beacon Centre’s redevelopment. The gardens at the Wodehouse are very beautiful and well worth a visit; and we are very grateful to Mr & Mrs Phlllips for making them available to us.'

Refreshments will be available all day. Admission to the gardens is £3.50 for those who are not taking part in the sponsored walk. For further information or a sponsorship form please contact Kate Fletcher at Beacon Centre on 01902 880111.
