Payroll giving
Payroll giving
Payroll giving is a simple and flexible scheme to allow employees to make regular donations to the charities of their choice from their gross pay – and for smaller companies it even attracts funds from the government.
It’s easy to set up and each employee specifies the monthly donation they want to make and where it should be paid. The employee instructions are sent to a payroll-giving agency and this is the body that handles the distribution of the funds to the charities. Once set up it almost runs itself.
We can advise companies how to establish a payroll giving scheme and will talk to staff about the benefits of payroll giving.
A payroll giving scheme takes a few hours to set up and most small companies are able to maintain it in less than half an hour per month.
