Beacon Centre Business Group
Our Business Group is a committee of businessmen and women who support Beacon Centre by organising two or three quality events each year. They make a commitment to sell tickets and obtain sponsorship, prizes and so on through their social and corporate contacts.
The group is supported by Beacon Centre’s Corporate Fundraising Officer, Alexa Lowers, who arranges for administrative support and any promotional items that are needed for the planning and organisation of events.
What is the aim of the group?
To raise much needed funds for Beacon Centre for the Blind, whilst providing opportunities for corporate entertaining, networking and media publicity for participating businesses.
What has the group raised over the last two years?
The Beacon Centre business group has raised over £20,000 over the last two years.
What are the advantages to group members?
