How can you avoid having too many toasters or worrying about how long you should keep the ornament Great Aunty Mabel bought for you before you can take it to the charity shop.  Whilst we would be more than happy to take such items into our charity shops, we would like to offer the ultimate solution to the problem, ask for donations instead.  

Family and friends can help you to celebrate your birthday, anniversary, wedding or whichever special occasion you are marking by sending a donation which you know will go on to support local people living with sight loss. 

We can provide you with pre-printed envelopes into which your guests can put their donation and, if they wish, add their details and allow us to collect Gift Aid, making the donation even more valuable.  You can collect in the envelopes and send them to us.  If you would like, we will even count the donations for you and let you know the grand total.  
 
Please remember to ask your guests to make any cheques payable to “Beacon Centre for the Blind”.
