Beacon4Print
Beacon4Print is an exciting new venture from Beacon Centre for the Blind.
Having secured substantial funding from The Ian Karten Charitable Trust* towards the capital equipment, Beacon4Print is now offering a high quality, full colour print service across the Black Country and beyond.
The service forms part of the Beacon4Work Employment Service launched in 2010 by Beacon Centre and gives additional opportunities to clients with a visual impairment to gain skills in a number of task areas. The aim is to give such clients new and additional skills to help them to secure opportunities in the workplace.
The service will be particularly attractive to other charities, voluntary groups, schools and similar organisations with a need for occasional and often small volume print runs for a whole range of printed matter. It will also appeal to small businesses and other commercial organisations who wish to support our charity work, as profits generated go to supporting our work with people in the local area with a visual impairment. Beacon4Print accepts own designs or offers a design capability itself as part of the overall package.
The items produced are high quality and competitively priced against those offered by commercial printers. The range available includes;
